add block
There are eleven AddBlocks. Like any other MCT Brattberg block, all AddBlocks are pre-greased during manufacture. By using the inserts, “wings”, each AddBlock can be adapted to five different cable diameters. AddBlocks, including all inserts, are provided with a diameter code clearly incorporated into the rubber. The total AddBlocks range covers a range of 66 cable diameters, varying from 3.5 to 69.5 mm. It is very important to determine the correct block size based on the diameters of the cables to be fed through. Therefore, each cable or pipe diameter must be carefully measured beforehand.
Plugs and wraps
Each AddBlock can be (temporarily) adapted to a blind block using plugs specially made for this purpose. All inserts, and this also applies to the insert plug, are provided with 4 anchoring strips that connect seamlessly to the grooves in the master block. As a result, an AddBlock always seals just as tightly as a standard insert block (regardless of the use of an insert). The slipping of an insert from the block is effectively prevented in this way.
The add block is also available in EMC or Ex version.
